Biography

Dr. Oubre has been an MD since 2010, and a functional medicine doctor since 2014. After moving to Austin and joining a small practice, he accidentally discovered functional medicine. While he was in a traditional medical school (MD), he trained in all of the conventional medical treatments. After he started using advanced lab testing and treating patients’ root cause issues, he realized that he had been lied to by conventional medical school. Since discovering functional medicine, Dr. Oubre has made it his focus in life to learn as much as he can for his patients. He treats anyone and everyone, and prides himself on being relentless in every patient’s care until he finds their unique solution. Dr. Oubre is a tireless advocate for functional medicine.
